No current method of investigation
Despite of the lack of connection with acknowledged science, the approach that is being followed within astrology may well be subjected to an analytical investigation. For that purpose the investigation that is presented on ths site follows a logic that suits the subject. Going along the readingroute this approach will be develloped step by step and will speak for itself.
No official research
So on this quest I do not use any accepted model of research. Instead, I will be investigating, like a detective, the internal ways of reasoning within the astrological workingmodel.
Even though this approach does not fit into any accepted method (as far as I know), it does not have an alienating effect either: The approach remains consistent with the nature of the subject matter. Hopefully this implies that the conclusions to be drawn will not be mere artefacts.
Not for beginners
The subject matter that I offer here is not intended for those who have just taken up the study of astrology. Of course, there is no harm done if people read these texts out of curiosity, but for this website I do assume that my readers have a basic knowledge of the subject. Perhaps in a later stage it will be possible for me to include some examples, but this website does not offer a course in astrology. Descriptions of the properties of the various planets in the Houses and Signs and their astrological aspects abound in astrological literature. My aim is not served by repeating the allready known properties.
Demystification
Research may lead to a certain demystification. This may compel readers to reconsider their familiar views on astrology. In this way this website may lead former opponents to broaden their minds sufficiently to grant astrology ‘the benefit of the doubt’, whereas firm believers may become disappointed in it. Whether these reactions are experienced as positive or negative will depend on one’s attachment to one’s former assumptions. This will vary from person to person.
